New Arrivals!

Several new books have come to Lewis Library!  Here are just a few:

The History of Writing: Alphabets, Hieroglyphs & Pictograms by Andrew Robinson
Call # P211.R6 2007

Robinson discusses teh major writing systems and how they developed.  This book is currently located on the Humanities book rack on the main level.  Ask about it at the Circulation desk!

Slow Dance in Autumn: A Hank Prince Mystery Novel by Philip Lee Williams
Call # PS 3573 .I45535 S57 1988

Athens author, Philip Lee Williams writes about a baseball player turned detective in Atlanta.  The library also just got in four more of Williams' books!

The Last Speakers: The Quest to Save the World's Most Endangered Languages by K. David Harrison
Call # P40.5 .E53 H37 2010

The author chronicles his unique encounters with the last speakers of the world's vanishing languages.
