PREZI: Better than Power Point

This is an example of a Prezi:

With today's modern technology, and all the media that students are constantly bombarded with, why should teachers or even students themselves expect their classes to fully engage in a "boring power point" slide presentation? There are many alternative presentation formats, including PREZI!

According to Prezi.com, "The creators of Prezi, Adam Somlai-Fischer and Peter Halacsy, started working on Prezi in 2007, as they felt slides limited their ability to develop and explain ideas. Prezi was their response to solve these issues. Prezi officially launched in April 2009 from Budapest."

Today Prezi is quickly being adapted for use in the classrooms of schools, colleges, businesses, and more as a more efficient, and more attractive, format for presentations. Prezi is completey free to use, and very easy to learn. Not only can you create Prezi's to support a live presentation, but you can also use Prezi to share your presentation on the web by embedding a Prezi into a website or blog or by emailing or sharing a link to your Prezi. Not only are Prezi's more fun to watch than traditional power point slide presentations, but they're also fun to create!
