The Power of Suggestion

Ever wondered how the library chooses the books and DVDs in the collection?  Some are recommended by faculty; some are ordered by librarians after reading reviews in various sources.  But you, the user, can also recommend things for us to add to the collection.  There are suggestion boxes on the main floor by the copier and at the Technology Help Desk on the third floor.  You can be specific that you think we should add specific film or book titles (related to your courses or just "for fun") or you can just suggest we get more books for whatever area you are researching.

And you don't have to limit your suggestions to just things we should buy -- let us know if you have changes to suggest for hours we're open, for room reservations, etc.

Not in the library when you think of something?  Just go to the library homepage and let us know your suggestion through the "Ask A Librarian" link. We look forward to hearing from you!
